Pre- and Post- Conference Tours
In order that conference participants may enjoy many historic sites, scenic areas and recent developments in other cities in China, pre- and post-conference tours will be specially arranged by the Center for International Scientific Exchanges of CAS. First-class service will be provided. Optional tour sites are as follows:

Pre-Tour 1: Shanghai 每 Xi'an 每 Beijing (May 30- June 3, 2007)

Itinerary:
May 30 Arrive in Shanghai. Transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day is free.
May 31 Sightseeing in Shanghai: Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Museum, Children's Palace and the Bund.
June 1 Fly to Xi'an.
June 2 Sightseeing in Xi'an: Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Springs, Banpo Neolithic Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Wall, and the Provincial Museum.
June 3 Fly to Beijing and transfer to the BICC for registration, where the tour concludes.

Pre-Conference Tour 2: Guangzhou - Guilin - Xi'an 每 Beijing (May 29- June 3, 2007)

Itinerary:
May 29 Arrive in Guangzhou. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
May 30 Sightseeing in Guangzhou: Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, and Six Banyan Tree Temple, fly to Guilin.
May 31 Sightseeing in Guilin: one day Cruise on the Lijiang River, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, and Diecui Hill.
June 1 Fly to Xi'an
June 2 Sightseeing in Xi'an: Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Springs, Banpo Neolithic Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Wall, and the Provincial Museum.

Itinerary:
June 7 Fly to Nanjing.

June 9 Take train to Wuxi.Sightseeing in Wuxi: Cruise on the Taihu Lake and Jichang Garden.
June 10 Take the train to Suzhou.Sightseeing in Suzhou: Zhuo Zheng Yuan, Huqiu, and Hanshan (Old Hill) Temple.
June 11 Take train to Shanghai.
June 12 Sightseeing in Shanghai: Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Museum, Children's Palace, and the Bund.
June 13 After breakfast at the hotel, the tour will terminate.

Post-Conference Tour 2: Beijing - Xi'an - Guilin 每 Guangzhou 每 Hong Kong (Exit) (June 7- 12, 2007)

Itinerary:
June 7 Fly to Xi'an.

June 9 Fly to Guilin.

To make a tour application, please download the Tour Application Form by clicking the button and return the form to ChinaNANO2007 Secretariat before May 31, 2007.

Please pay US$700 as deposit in advance for your Pre-tour reservation, and pay the rest by credit card or cash on the conference site.

Notes for the tours:
The following services will be offered and included:
On the first day of pre-tours in the starting city, the travel agency will pick up participants from airport to hotels that are covered by the tour package.
Accommodations with buffet breakfasts at 4-star hotels.
Daily lunches and dinners at downtown restaurants in each city.
Sightseeing on air-conditioned coach with English-speaking guide in each city.
City-to-city transportation including express train tickets to Hong Kong. All exit tickets and airport construction fee (similar to airport departure fee) are to be self-arranged.
Airport construction fees.
Luggage handling.
An English-speaking domestic package guide will be an extra only for groups of more than 10 persons. Entrance tickets to local sites are included.
If no accompanying person's name is indicated in your Application Form for Pre-and Post-Conference Tour, you will be arranged as a single occupancy during the tour.
For the first day of the pre-conference tours, the price only includes transportation fee to the hotel and the room fee. The participants are responsible for the entry tickets and the rest of the first day.
