During the Conference, we will organize night program, half day or one day city tours of Beijing¡¯s most famous historical and scenery sites, and we will also organize pre-conference and post-conference tours of China¡¯s most famous historical and scenery sites. The tour routes and pricing are listed below.

How to book a tour

Please make a tour application by downloading the Tour Application Form, and fill it in and submit it to the emails: PCO_China@yahoo.cn.

Deadline
The deadline of registration for Pre-conference tours is August 1st, 2009.
The deadline of registration for Post-conference tours is August 10, 2009.
The deadline of registration for city tours is one day before start time of the corresponding tour.

Notes for city tours:

• The information provided in the Tour Application Form is for the arrangement of appropriate transportation. These social events scheduled during the conference will be subject to possible adjustment of conference events. Your application shall be finalized and will take effect upon your registration at our tour desk.
• Tickets will be sold at the registration desk.
• As for payment of city tours, please pay by cash, either in USD or RMB.

Morning tour: Depart at 8:30 a.m.

Afternoon tour: Depart at 2:00 p.m.

Evening Beijing Opera or Acrobatic Show: Depart at 6:00 p.m.

Pre-Conference China Tours

Itinerary:
D1	Fly to Xi’an and transfer to a 4-star hotel. Visiting the Ancient City Wall, and the Provincial Museum.
D2	Sightseeing in Xi’an: Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Springs. Fly back to Beijing in the evening and transfer to the hotel.

Itinerary:
D1	Arrive in Shanghai. Transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day is free.
D2	Sightseeing in Shanghai: Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Museum, Oriental TV Tower and the Bund. (B, L, D)
D3	Free in the morning, Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. Pick up and check in.(B)
D4	Sightseeing in Xi'an: Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, the Provincial Museum and Tang Dynasty Show£¨B, L, D£©

Notes for the tours:

• Please pay US$700 as deposit in advance for your Pre-tour reservation, and pay the rest by cash(US dollar or RMB)on the conference site.
• Participants should self-arrange and pay for their own transportation to either Shanghai or Guangzhou before the Pre-tours No.15 or No. 16 begin.
• For the first day of pre-tours in the starting city, the tour company will only pick-up participants from airport to hotel and room are covered by the tour package.
• Accommodations with buffet breakfasts at 4-star hotels.
• Daily lunches and dinners at downtown restaurants in each city.
• Sightseeing by air-conditioned coach with an English-speaking city guide in each city. An English-speaking domestic package guide will be an extra only for groups of more than 10.
• Inter-city transportation including express train tickets to Hong Kong. All exit tickets are to be self-arranged.
• If no accompanying person's name is indicated during your tour application for Pre- and Post-Conference Tour, you will be treated as a single occupancy during the tour.
• Entrance tickets to local sites are included in visited cities.
