Beijing International Convention Center (BICC)

The Conference Venue will be Beijing International Convention Center (BICC), which is located in the Asian Games Village, 10 kilometers north of the city center of Beijing and 20 kilometers southwest of Beijing International Airport. BICC is the largest congress complex in Beijing and has sophisticated facilities.

BICC is an eight-story building with two underground floors, comprising 50 conference halls and meeting rooms with capacities from 10 to 2500 people. BICC also has indoor exhibition halls holding as many as 300 international standard exhibition booths and dozens of offices.

Conference participants and their accompanying persons will be accommodated at one of the following hotels:

Celebrity International Grand Hotel (5-star)

10-minute walk from BICC. Taxi will cost 10 RMB (US$1.25). The hotel is nicely decorated and has comfortable rooms with city-views, in addition to its well-known Aegean Western Restaurant and Minghuang Restaurant. It can offer 100 rooms for our Conference participants.

Beijing Continental Grand Hotel (4-star)

Adjacent to BICC, the hotel has 6 fine restaurants serving typical Cantonese, Sichuan, Shandong, and Jiangsu cuisines as well as French cuisines and Western snacks. This hotel offers 300 rooms with private facilities and city view for our Conference participants.

located in the Asian Games Village sports complex, is 15 minutes walk from BICC, 25 minutes (20 km) from Beijing Airport.

Above hotels suggested by the conference secretariat are located within walking distance of the venue, BICC. They are all equipped with private bathroom, color TV, and air-conditioning. The allocation of rooms will follow the "first come, first served" principle.

To make a reservation, please download the Hotel reservation form by clicking the button and return the form to the ChinaNANO2007 Secretariat before May 31, 2007.

Telephone reservations cannot be accepted.
Because June is the tourist season in Beijing, attendees are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.
Any change made to the reservation prior to arrival must be communicated to the Secretariat, NOT TO the hotels directly.
Reservation Deadline
Please make a reservation before May 8, 2007. Room availability cannot be guaranteed after this date, although Local Organizing Committee will make every effort to help participants to find rooms.
Late Arrival
If a participant does not show up by the following morning, the room will be released at that time and the person charged for the night.
Confirmation of Hotel Reservations
Participants will receive a written confirmation of their reservation by e-mail. If you do not receive your confirmation within 15 days, please contact the conference secretariat.
Methods of Payment
All accommodation expenses have to be settled directly with the hotel on-site. Credit card and cash are both accepted.

Notes

A. The Secretariat will make reservations according to the check-in and check-out dates indicated on your Hotel Reservation Form. If you wish to change, please inform the Secretariat in time.

B. The rates quoted above are special discount rates only for the conference. They include one breakfast, US$1.5 city construction fees per day and 10% service charges. Extras such as IDD and DDD calls, laundry, mini-bars, etc. are not included.

C. The Secretariat will not be responsible for room sharing arrangement. For those who intend to share rooms, please indicate your roommate's name on the Hotel Reservation Form.

D. As single rooms are limited, the conference secretariat will have to assign twin rooms (with two single beds) for single occupancy.
