Session 3. Self-Assembly and Soft Nanomaterials

 

Self-assembly and supramolecular phenomena are ubiquitous in nanoscience. Self-assembly is one of the most important strategies for nanoscale fabrication. Researches are applying the principles of self-assembly to design and manufacture various nanomaterials and artificial nanoscale systems. The goal is to construct architectures with customized structures and functions, and generate wide applications.

The overall aim of this section is to bring science and technology together on self-assembled supramolecular system with emphasis on synthesis, processing and applications of materials with true nanoscale dimensions or nanostructures that enable novel/enhanced properties or functions, including experimental, theoretical, computational, and/or applications.
